Before you can order the parts you need you will want to check the unit thoroughly to detect the source of your problem. You need to have a look whether the heating element is working. Ensure that the main power switch on the fireplace is turned on.

There is excessive noise coming out of the heater. This problem occurs when the thermostat is set too low below room temperature preventing it from turning on. If the electric heater fan comes on when you turn on the heater but no heat seems to be coming out you could have a blown circuit or there may be a break in the actual heater coil. Ensure that the fireplace is plugged in and turned on at the wall.

Ensure the intake louvers and log cavity are free from dirt and dust.
